Q:
If my Delta Dental benefit plan changes to the new Delta, will I still be able to come to your office?
A:
Absolutely! You can still be a patient at Amity Street Dental as long as you wish. We will remain an in network Delta Premier provider for the "old Delta," as long as we are allowed, but we will be an out of network PPO and PPO Premier provider for the "new Delta."
Q:
How will I know when my plan changes?
A:
You should receive a notification from your employer or Delta Dental of any changes to your current benefit plan. It is not anticipated that these changes will occur until your renewal period is up; however we will notify you when we are aware of any changes.
Q:
How will this change effect billing?
A:
We are currently an in-network provider for Delta Dental Premier which is part of the "old Delta." If your benefit plan does not change, the billing will remain the same. If your dental benefit plan changes to the "new Delta," we will collect in full for dental services at the time of your visit and Delta Dental will reimburse you directly once they have processed your claim as per the "new Delta" restructuring. If you have questions on whether your plan is part of the "new Delta," please contact our office and we will be happy to assist you. We will continue to notify you of expected treatment cost prior to your visit and will submit the claims electronically on your behalf.
Q:
Will my coverage for dental services change?
A:
Your dental services are based on your group. Please refer to your benefit explanation of coverage for any changes to your plan. If you have any questions or need assistance analyzing your plan, feel free to contact our office.
